Should affirmative action be abolished and replaced with a wholly meritocratic system?

it's not even about affirmative action look at it like this..paying 15,000 dollars a year 2 go to a high school that guarantee's a 4.0 student a spot in an ivy league college..or going 2 a public school getting a 4.0 and saying your not guaranteed 2 an ivy league school because the high school you went 2 isn't ranked high enough..theirs 3 sides 2 a coin..who is 2 say which student is more deserving? its more about equal opportunity than meeting a quota...that's something the people that will give me a thumps down will never understand...
