What difference would it make if the same floods in bangladesh happened in he uk?- would less people die?-what

Interesting question. IMO, I would have to say that it would depend on the local media as they tend to report the most and where you were geographically located. Another school of thought is, nothing - a life is a life. And again, on a different tact (not a humane one though) in economic terms, the difference would expected to be much greater in the UK being a major finance hub of the electronic kind, if the floods were the same in the UK. Extropolate that to would people die and it becomes a much larger page than this response might accomodate. With Govt funding geared up to finance the economic crunch coming out of the US, human death might not be large, however, this might be considered in 'other impacts'.
