Why is it that most people do not regard IQ tests with suspicion?

IQ testers not only claim that results show that white people are smarter than black people, but also that richer people are smarter than poorer people, and that the IQ of men is higher on average than that of women. Do you find it suspicious that IQ tests seem to uphold all of the clical stereotypes based on "race," gender and cl? Are rich people such as Jessica Simpson (IQ~160) more intelligent than you?
