Will adding pure acetone work on the new gasoline formula (10% ethanol)?

I have read somewhere that adding a few ounces of pure acetone to gasoline will increase a car's fuel efficiency. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I'm wondering if it will work with the new gasoline formula, which has 10% ethanol added. Any expertise and comments regarding the matter is appreciated!
