Flu AND bronchitis...any tips for a fast recovery?

I've never been this sick in my life, went to the doctor and was told i have the flu annd bronchitis..i was givin doxcycl (its an antibiotic used for treating upper respiratory infections) and two days later I still feel awful. Horrible horrible coughing, fever of 102, extremely sore throat as well as all of the other flu symptoms. Any tips or remedies for a faster recovery?
